You need a better reason than "the breed is adorable," yes they are beautiful dogs but they are not easy to take care of if you're a new dog owner. They're independent, smart, stubborn, and require a lot of tending to. Its the kind of breed in which you have to dedicate your time to. They need lots of obedience training and are not always the best with other animals and children. Children often make them feel uncomfortable. I think you should start off with a breed that is not as difficult to have, maybe something that's a little more family oriented. I'm not discouraging getting one in general, because they are fantastic if you can handle them, but like I said they are for experienced dog owners.
References :
listen to me all these people saying its not suitable for a first time owner and this that and the other are dead wrong I'm 15 and i got my shiba inu at the pet store she is the most well behaved dog she is not hard at all so all those people telling you its not for first time owners are dead wrong if i listened to everyone that told me that i would have missed out on a amazing dog and as for your parents just ask your dad why he was able to have 3 dogs and you can't even have 1 and be extra nice and helpful around the house.

here is a video of my foxy playing with my cat she gets along great with animals and people btw.

offer to petsit a neighbor's dog to prove you are capable of taking care of one.
decide if you want to get a puppy or not. puppies are cute, but they need constant attention and consistent training (housebreaking, socializing, etc [socializing is especially important with shibas to prevent aggressive behavior])
shibas don't require a lot of grooming, but they do have a lot of energy and are very strong so they need frequent exercise.
find a breeder and contact them for information like the dog's pedigree, if it is AKC registered, up to date on shots, and cost. a lot of breeders will allow you to stop by and see the dog before making a decision so perhaps once you've proven you're responsible enough to take care of an animal, suggest that to your dad.
References :
Here is more information on the breed:
http://www.shibainucanada.com/so_you_want.htm
http://www.shibas.org/newstand/intro_to_shiba_part1.pdf
http://www.shibas.org/newstand/intro_to_shiba_part2.pdf

Read all of it.

They are not typical "dogs" in the pet sense, certainly not like Labradors or other "family" breeds.
Have your parents both read these articles as well. "Being cute"has nothing to do with getting a dog. If your parent's don't want to deal with a dog that is constantly disappearing and a challenge to keep properly exercised and contained. Then the answer in the end is no.
References :
A Shiba is NOT a kid's dog. And you don't get a dog for the sole reason that it's "adorable". Get an easier to raise breed now, one that is suited to your family's activity level, and decide when you're an adult if you're up to owning a Shiba.
References :
yes any breed of dog can die if male is bigger
why would you want to add more untested puppies to world?
References :
Yes, it is possible. There is a very substantial size difference between the two breeds, and when the male is that much larger, puppies can be too large to birth naturally, resulting in an expensive C-section and/or the female's death. There are enough mutts in need of homes already without adding to them. If you want a mixed breed dog, head to yuor local shelter and pick one out.
