They Don’t Require to Compete Upon Which Arrives Firstly, They Can Exist Together

I don’t get why people are so bent on arguing over which comes first, the chicken or the egg. Nonetheless, I do not want just a chicken or an egg, I want to have both. Battered chicken is made with egg and fried chicken is perfect with cheese omelet.

How about if we stop arguing which comes first now? Let us just start keeping both and we will be happier.

Chickens, for me, are the best animals to raise. The chicken and the egg argument is precisely the reason for this. Raising hog can only give you pork and a lot of crap, unlike chickens where you can have a package of both eggs and their meat. Well, raising cows gives you milk too, but you would need a big farm for that. For keeping chickens, a backyard is enough.

The very first aspect involved if you wish to raise chickens is that you must be willing to work hard. Keeping chickens require your attention and care, though not that much as they are not needy, so that you can have healthy eggs and meat that is so tender. It involves constant monitoring and knowing when to put them in the hen house or when to allow them ventilation.

There are little differences in keeping chickens and petting dogs, that is you want to eat the chicken and get their eggs; you do not want to do that with dogs. Also there are some people who keep chickens for enjoyment purposes, just like any other pets.

Fresh eggs are different from those you bought in the market. I can’t describe it but farming warm eggs really gives me pleasure and it tastes different, I can assure you that. I can’t describe how different it tastes but have you tried cooking fish that was straight from the net? Well, it’s like that.

It can be very difficult though in keeping chickens if you reside in a big City. Neighbors would complain about the noise particularly when they are heavy sleepers and chickens are very prompt alarm clocks.

Keeping chickens however is not illegal but you have to follow guidelines, especially in Cities where it is implemented. A sneak peek of the guideline would be that one is able to keep a maximum of three chickens in their backyard and if there is a hen house, it must be located at least 20 feet far from the closest property. Surely, apartment owners cannot raise chickens. Aside from the noise though, among the opposition against raising chickens in the City is the possibility that the animal carries diseases with it and it would be hard to contain in a congested urban area. Among the feared diseases are avian influenza that rocked the world a couple of years back and Coccidia.

When you’ve got any extra questions connected with this matter, be sure to look into raising chickens.
