I’ve been searching everywhere for a shiba inu my bf and I are planning on getting one
Sadly everywhere I searched either is all out or out of state.
And adopting I couldn’t find one..
Anyways does anyone know?
I love animals
I currently have a guinea pig and take care of him he’s lived longer than the average age…
and in the future would love to be a vet
The two sites below are rescue sites but there are many more. Type shiba inu rescue in search bar and you will get loads of sites. As for breeders you need to understand that there may not be breeders in every state. You may have to go to a neighboring state for breeder. Keep in mind many responsible breeders feel that if the buyer isn’t willing to go out of their comfort zone (their own state) then they really don’t want a Shiba.

well you can try this sight http://www.akc.org/ thay might have a good breeder hidden in maryland

Contact the local breed club. Since Maryland is the size of a pimple you just may have to go "out of state" to get a dog.
Also do not be surprised if a breeder is reluctant to place one of their puppies in a situation where folks are just playing house.

Since Maryland is a pretty small state, then you will probably have to go out of state to find a Shiba Inu breeder. However, you could always look at local animal shelters, you never know what dogs will be there. And plus, when you adopt from a shelter, you are saving a dog that might have otherwise not have had anywhere else to go.
